Porridge is one of the beverages prepared in Kenya. It can be prepared using millet, sorghum or maize flour. It can be sour or not.
Steps

Pour two cups of water in a cooking pot and place over medium heat. Allow the water to boil.

Add 1 cup of finger millet flour to 1 cup of cold water in a cup and mix to paste.
- 3
Pour the paste into the boiling water stirring continuously to avoid lumping as it thickens into a uniform smooth mixture.

Let it cook for 10 minutes and add sugar then let it boil for another 5 - 10 minutes. Serve warm or hot.
