Steps

Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan.

Add cumin seeds and saute for few seconds. Add green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and saute for a minute.

Add Varai and saute for 1-2 minutes.

Now add 1.5 cups of water. Stir so that there are no lumps and add salt.

Then cover and cook on low flame till the varai is cooked well.

After 5-6 minutes, remove the lid and check if the varai is cooked. Add 1-2 tbsp of water if needed.

Cook without lid for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. It's take about 7-9 minutes for varai to cooked well.

When the varai is cooked, sprinkle lemon juice over it. Mix well. Switch off the gas.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
