Samak rice and Chanadal dosa

As we all know the goodness of Samak rice - Barnyard millet, it is beneficial for heart and kidney. Also rich in fibres, iron, phosphorus etc. It regulates blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, weight gain and what not.
And chana dal is rich in protein, fibres, also helps in diabetes and blood pressure.
So this is a perfect healthy recipe for one who avoids heavy grains or insist gluten-free food.

Take samak rice, chana dal and urad dal separately. Wash them each 2 - 3 times with water. Soak them in water for 4-5 hours.

In a mixture grinder, grind all of them adding some water to a fine batter.

Add salt and mix it well. Cover the batter and keep it for 4-5 hours. Heat a non-stick tawa. Add water to batter if needed. Spread the batter on the tawa to prepare dosa. Drizzle oil or ghee or butter flip on other side and cook till golden in colour.

Serve hot and enjoy with coconut chutney.
