Pumpkin Squares w/Cream Cheese Buttercream

  2. 6 ozbutter
  3. 440 gsugar
  4. Wet Ingredients
  5. 15 ozpumpkin puree
  6. 4eggs
  7. 1 Tvanilla
  8. Dry Ingredients
  9. 2 cflour
  10. 2 tbaking powder
  11. 1/2 tbaking soda
  12. 1/2 tsalt
  13. 1 tcinnamon
  14. 1/4 tnutmeg
  15. Cream Cheese Buttercream
  16. 2 ozbutter, softened
  17. 8 ozcream cheese, softened
  18. 1 Tvanilla
  19. Powder sugar (up to 1 bag)

Cooking Instructions

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (~3 min on medium-high).

    Blend pumpkin and eggs; add to sugar mixture.

  3. 3

    Combine dry ingredients, add to batter. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Bake in greased jelly roll pan at 350 Fahrenheit for 25-35 minutes.

    Allow to cool before frosting!

    Cream Cheese Buttercream:
    -Mix the softened butter and cream cheese together (~3 min on medium-high)
    -Add vanilla and 2 cups of powder sugar
    -Keep adding powder sugar, up to the full bag, until the consistency of frosting desired. Adding 1 cup at a time.
    -Spread on the pumpkin squares and sprinkle with cinnamon and/or nutmeg
