Ingredients

30 minutes prep + 40 minutes baking
Serves 6 servings
  • 1 1/4 cupschestnut flour (150 grams)
  • 3/4 cupall-purpose flour (100 grams)
  • 1/3 cup potato starch (50 grams)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (250 grams)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons milk (50 ml)
  • 3/4 cup sugar (150 grams)
  • 1 cup chopped marrons glacés (150 grams)
  • 1 packet baking powder (about 2 1/2 teaspoons or 16 grams)

Steps

30 minutes prep + 40 minutes baking
  1. 1

    Beat the ricotta with the sugar until very smooth. Add the eggs and milk, and mix well. Gradually add both flours, the potato starch, and the baking powder, mixing until combined.

    Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth. Fold in the chopped marrons glacés and stir. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.

  3. 3

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 40 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick before removing from the oven.
