Soft Bread and Milk Pudding (similar texture to flan)

Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the milk, bread, cinnamon, vanilla, and sweetened condensed milk. If needed, add some sugar along with the salt. The pinch of salt will help bring out all the flavors.

Prepare the caramel: Pour the liquid caramel into the mold and swirl to cover the entire bottom and sides.

Incorporate the bread: Soak the bread slices in the milk mixture and place them in the caramel-coated mold.

Cook in a water bath: Place the mold in a larger pot with hot water reaching halfway up the mold. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 1 1/2 hours, or until firm in the center.

Cool and unmold: Let it cool completely before unmolding.

If desired, you can decorate by sprinkling ground cinnamon, which will also add extra flavor to the pudding.
