Ingredients

  1. 2 Tolive oil
  2. 36 slicesbacon
  3. 4 cupsmedium diced onions
  4. 24 clovesgarlic
  5. 2 Tpepper
  6. 3/4 cupchicken base
  7. 1 boxcollard greens
  8. 3 galwater

Cooking Instructions

    Sauté bacon with olive oil until soft cooked

  2. 2

    Add onion and sauté until translucent

  3. 3

    Add garlic and sauté til fragrant (3 minutes max!)

  4. 4

    Add water, chicken base and greens

  5. 5

    Bring to a boil then simmer for 45 minutes

  6. 6

    Greens are done when stems are tender. Add chicken base 1 T at a time if not flavorful enough. Add sugar 1 T at a time if greens are bitter
