A great twist on a traditional pasta dish. The honey adds a great taste and "cool down" from the spicy Cajun heat. Even if you are not a fan of spicy foods, you'll love this alternative.

Cook pasta according to directions, set aside. (You can also cook pasta while other ingredients are being cooked to expedite the total prep time)

Add olive oil to sauce pan and heat

Add shrimp, sausage, peppers and onions; coat ingredients with Cajun seasoning. Cook until sausage is lightly browned, about 5-10 minutes

Add cream, chicken broth and honey. Dust with Cajun seasoning. Stir until blended, 5 minutes.

As the sauce begins to thicken, add in cooked pasta and dust again with Cajun seasoning. Let simmer and stir frequently for 2-3 minutes.

Add in parmesan cheese and mix, simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes and then serve.
