Bottle Gourd Leaves and Fritters. Yes! You have heard right. These are yummy variation of Fritters or Pakoras made with the Bottle Gourd Leaves and some selected spices along with the Gram flour. These crisp and crunchy Fritters are a great treat to our tastebuds on any given day. A perfect accompaniment to the evening Tea-time with the whole family.
Bottle Gourd Leaves can help boost the body's immunity. These are crushed and used to treat baldness. These Leaves are edible along with the stems. They are high in Fibre and alkali and therefore used to treat digestive discomforts and acidity. They can be used to treat many skin problems too. In this particular recipe, I have used them in Fritters for the snack time.

Steps
- 1
Wash the chopped bottle gourd leaves thoroughly to get rid of the dirt and the sand. Rinse them well 4 to 5 times. Leafy Greens needs to be cleaned really well. Allow to drain well too before proceeding with the recipe.
- 2
Make a thick batter with all the ingredients mentioned. Use of water depends on the quality of the flour used. Make sure you mix it with your hands. Wash your hands thoroughly before doing so. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
- 3
Drop small balls in hot oil as we do for the pakoras or fritters. Fry few at a time. Use a clean spoon if you cannot do it with your hands. Stay safe while frying. Fry until golden brown and crisp. Take care not to burn them. Keep an eye while frying. Keep turning at regular intervals to ensure that they are evenly cooked.
- 4
Serve these tempting and irresistible pakoras alongside any of your family's favourite dip or chutney. Enjoy! Yum!
