Mexican-Style Fish Tostadas

Another easy and delicious way to enjoy fish. I like it with just a little heat, but you can add more if you prefer, or even top them with hot sauce.
Mexican-Style Fish Tostadas
Another easy and delicious way to enjoy fish. I like it with just a little heat, but you can add more if you prefer, or even top them with hot sauce.
Steps
- 1
Prepare the ingredients. Cut the fish into cubes, cover with lime juice, and season with salt and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- 2
Drain the fish. Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil over medium heat and cook the fish until fully cooked through. Let cool completely.
- 3
In a separate bowl, mix all the vegetables, add the remaining teaspoon of olive oil, and stir well. Add the flaked fish and mix to combine the flavors. Taste and add more salt if needed.
- 4
In another bowl, mash the avocado into a purée and season with salt. Spread the avocado on the tostadas, then top with plenty of the fish salad.
- 5
Add a small handful of alfalfa sprouts on top and eat immediately so the tostada stays crisp.
