Kacha moong dal(Bengali style)

Take yellow moong dal in a bowl, wash it 2-3 times with water, and soak it in enough water to cover the dal. Cover and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Put water in a pan and heat it, once the water is hot, drain it and add lentils (dal). Let it cook on low heat. When the lentils start to froth, remove the froth with a spoon. Check if the lentils are cooked... once the lentils are cooked, turn off the gas.

Now, heat oil in a pan, add dry red chili, tamalpatra, green chili, and ajmo, and sauté well. Add boiled dal and stir, then add salt, turmeric powder, and sugar, and mix well. Boil for 5-7 minutes... Turn off the gas, add pure ghee to the dal, stir, and serve hot. (I added ghee while serving)
