Magas na Ladoo is a traditional dessert made for worship during the Holi festival in saurashtra ,Gujrat. According to the practice here, when there is a new couple or the first Holi after the birth of a son they doing special pooja to Holi and they send magas na ladu and packets of sev to their relatives as prasad.

First of all, sift gram flour. Heat ghee, milk and mix in flour and keep it covered and rest for 15 minutes. This prositure is called ' dhrabo '

After 15 minutes, strain this mixture. Heat ghee in a pan and add it to it. And keep stirring it on low heat. Add ghee as needed. Roast until it turns golden and smell goes well. Add malai when it turns golden. So that it becomes nice crunch.

Then take it out and add cardamom powder. After it cools for 5 minutes, add sugar and let it cool down.. When the mixture is a little thick,make laddu from it.

Place poppy seeds on the laddu and garnish with pistachio slices.

Magas laddus are ready to be served in the Holi puja.
