Name: Syrian Toum Garlic Sauce
Ingredients: 1 cup water (240 ml); 2 tablespoons cornstarch (about 16 grams); 1 small container plain yogurt (about 5 ounces or 140 grams); 2 tablespoons vinegar (30 ml); 3 tablespoons oil (45 ml); 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (30 ml); 2 cloves garlic, finely minced; 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

1 cupwater (240 ml)

Dissolve the cornstarch in the water while cold, then place over heat, stirring constantly until it boils, thickens, and cools.

Add the mixture to the rest of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a bowl and serve with shawarma. Enjoy!
