Ingredients

45 minutes
4-5 people
  1. 1 cupsoy sauce
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 1/2 cupmirin
  4. 1/2 cuprice syrup
  5. 1/2 tablespoonshoney
  6. 8 clovesgarlic
  7. 1small bundle of green onions ill
  8. 3Thai chili
  9. 1/2 teaspoonsHondashi stock powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoonsmsg
  11. 8-10eggs

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes
  1. 1

    First boil your eggs for 6-7 minutes (6min for a more jammy yolk) then peel them

  2. 2

    Chop up your aromatics and vegetables

  3. 3

    Now add all your liquid ingredients into a pot along with your minced vegetables and aromatics and bring to a simmer.

    Once the brine has come to a simmer turn off the heat and allow to cool before adding your peeled eggs into a Tupperware container then pour the soy sauce mixture over the eggs.

    Now finally add your sesame seeds, give everything a good stir and allow the eggs to marinate for at least 24 hours or overnight!

    Now you can enjoy these eggs over rice or use them to garnish your ramen!
