This homemade chili 🌶️ oil has become my household staple, it has a combination of flavors from garlic, shallot and lemongrass lightly sweet and savory. It perfect to enhance flavor on any dish you can think of .

Prepare: garlic, shallot and lemongrass in food processor. Blend to combine.

After blending get ready to fry

Stovetop in a skillet: add 2 cups cooking oil bring temperature to 350 degrees before adding garlic, shallot and lemongrass. Fry until color turns lightly golden.

Turn the heat to low.

Add: crushed red chili pepper, sugar, chicken bouillon powder, oyster sauce continue to fry at a very low heat for one minute before turning off the stove.

Let it completely cool down before putting in a glass jar. Shelf life : six months in kitchen cabinet.
