Ingredients

30-35 minutes
  • 4eggs
  • 1 cupsugar (about 200 grams)
  • 1 cupGreek yogurt (about 220 grams)
  • 3/4 cupvegetable oil (about 190 grams)
  • 1 cupall-purpose flour (about 120 grams; I used self-rising flour)
  • 1 cupsemolina (about 160 grams; I used fine semolina since I didn't have coarse)
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • For the syrup
  • 3 cupswater
  • 2 cupssugar
  • Lemon peel

Steps

30-35 minutes
  1. 1

    In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients above (except the orange juice) and beat with a hand mixer. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.

  2. 2

    While the cake is baking, prepare the syrup by boiling the listed ingredients. Have the orange juice ready. As soon as the cake is done, pour the orange juice over the revani, then immediately pour all the syrup on top.

  3. 3

    Honestly, I don't know exactly how it will turn out—you need to let it cool before tasting it! (And if I lose weight from this, let me know! 😁😂😁😂😁😂)
