Ingredients

  1. 8large, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch Yellow potatoes
  2. 1, diced Onion
  3. 4 cupsHeavy cream
  4. 2 (8 oz)bags Shredded yellow cheddar cheese
  5. to taste Garlic powder
  6. to taste Salt
  7. to taste Pepper
  8. to taste Paprika

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Grease an extra-large Pyrex dish and layer half of the potatoes.

    Sprinkle with onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.

    Pour half of the cream over the potatoes and add half of the cheese.

  5. 5

    Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.

  6. 6

    Cover with foil and bake for around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Uncover and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes more, depending on the dish's density.

Tips

Adjust baking time based on the density of the dish for best results.
