Malabar Chicken Curry

Marinate the chicken with salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.

Heat a pan add coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and black pepper. Roast for 2 minutes and grind it. Special masala is ready.

Heat a kadai pour coconut oil, add bay leaves, chopped onion and curry leaves. Saute until the onion becomes golden brown.

Then add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, green chillies paste and salt. Mix everything well and saute for 4-5 minutes. After tomatoes becomes soft add special masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder. Mix well.

Now add chicken and coconut paste. Saute for 5-6 minutes. Then add coconut milk and cover the kadai. After 10-12 minutes simmering open the lid. When the chicken becomes soft and gravy is well prepared off the flame. Rest for 3-5 minutes and serve it.
