Boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions

Reserve about 1/4 cups of pasta water

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat

Sauté chopped shallot and garlic for about 2 minutes until softened. Then add in chili flakes along with tomato paste cook and sauté for another minute.

Add in grape tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they're soft and burst.

Pour in heavy cream and mix ! Let that simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to your liking and add in the fresh basil. Optional but you can add a pinch of sugar if the sauce is to tangy.

Toss drained pasta into the sauce and add in pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.

Let that simmer for another minute while mixing.

Top with a fresh burrata and cut the burrata open !
