Rinse and soak the Chilaka Moong Dal in water for 3–4 hours or overnight.

Drain the soaked dal and grind it into a smooth batter using minimal water.
Add salt to taste and mix well to achieve a pouring consistency (not too runny, not too thick). - 3
Heat a non-stick or cast-iron pan and lightly grease it with oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it gently in a circular motion to form a thik pancake. Drizzle a little oil around the edges. - 4
Spread chopped veggies over it and cook on medium heat until the bottom turns golden brown. Sprinkle special masala over it.
