Ingredients

  1. 200 gmGourd
  2. 100 gmChickpeas
  3. 1,tameto
  4. 7/9 Garlic clove
  5. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  6. 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  7. Half teaspoon mustard seeds
  8. 2 tablespoon oil
  9. 1 teaspoon ambali
  10. 1 teaspoon sugar
  11. Salt pr taste

    Soak the gram dal in hot water for an hour, then chop the gourd and cook the dal and gourd in the cooker for 4 whistles. Make a paste of garlic, chop the tomato and put oil in a pan, add mustard and asafoetida, add curry leaves, add garlic paste, add all the spices, add tomato and saute, then add some water and boil it. When the water boils, add the boiled dal and gourd in it and boil it. Add tamarind and sugar, add coriander and fill it in a tiffin and make a paste with rice, curd and vegetable
