Tawa Fried masala Idly

Take leftover Idly,chop onion, tomato, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Keep aside.

Keep a dosa tawa on medium heat, add butter, mustard seeds and curry leaves,let it split, add chopped onion and tomato, saute till onions turn transparent, then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,pav baji masala and salt. Fry until the raw smell goes out well.

Add two tablespoons of water. Let it cook for two minutes. Then add the idly pieces, give a nice mix. Keep it low heat. Mix for two, three minutes. Let the idly absorb the moisture, tawa fried idly is ready.

Now sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves, mix well. Transfer to a serving plate.

The leftover Idly becomes fresh tawa fried masala idly now. Enjoy the tasty tawa fried masala idly. Serve hot for breakfast and dinner.
