  • 1 cupurad dal white
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspHaldi
  • 1laung
  • 1elachhi
  • 1dalchini
  • 1tejpata
  • For tadka
  • 2tomato
  • 1onion
  • Ginger
  • 2 pcGreen chilli
  • 3 clovesGarlic
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspGaram masala
  • 2 tbspLemon juice
  • Coriander leaves and green chilli for garnish
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 1/4 tspHing

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak dal for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Drain the water and place it in cooker add water according to dal add haldi salt tejpata laung Elaichi dal chini for 1 whistle.Don't make it too mushy

    In mixer grinder add onion tomato ginger green chilli make a paste

    In a pan.Heat oil add jeera and hing

    Add tomato mixture and cook till oil separate.

    Add cooked dal and mix well.Add garam masala.

    Serve hot.
