Ingredients

40mts
8 people
  1. 1 cupgram flour
  2. 1.5 cupwhite sugar
  3. 1.5 cupoil
  4. 1/2 cupghee
  5. Pinchcardamom Powder

Cooking Instructions

40mts
  1. 1

Take all the needed ingredients. Mix ghee and oil in a same bowl and heat.

  2. 2

In a hot heavy bottom pan add sugar and 3/4 cup water. Sugar dissolves and started boiling. Boil it until 1 string consistency.

  3. 3

Then add seived gramflour, mix it without lumps. Eventhough we had lumps,it dissolves when we pour oil.

  4. 4

Once mixed well, start poring a ladle of hot oil. Then mix again. After pouring few more times, flour cooked and thickens. So pour it again, mix it.

  5. 5

Put the flame in sim and heat the oil until the process ends. For cooking put in slow medium flame..Repeat the process until it releases the oil. That time flour will have more bubbles and it would be non sticky. Then stop pouring oil. I had left over oil around 1/3cup. When add last ladle of oil,add pinch of cardamom and mix it well. That's it.

  6. 6

Immediately transfer to ghee rubbed mould and shape it up. After 5 few mins, Slice it. Or it becomes hard.

  7. 7

Then when it's cooldown store it. It's a classic Mysore Pak. It's tasty tasty. Everyday loved it. Taste same as bakery style Classic Mysore Pak.
