First, wash and soak the poha for 5 minutes. Then remove any excess water and turn well with a fork

Heat ghee in a pan and add almonds. Stir cook till golden. Remove into a plate. Cool slightly and chop into small pieces.

To the same pan, add the poha and stir cook for 2 to 3 minutes till soft and slightly golden. Then add milk powder, sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.

Then add the coconut, saffron, and keep turning till it gets thick and sugar melts completely. Now the mithai is ready.

Grease a tray with little ghee. Sprinkle almonds at the base. Transfer the mixture to the tray, press well and sprinkle rest of the almonds on top. After it gets to room temperature, refrigerate for 1/2 an hour. Remove and cut in squares.

Arrange on beetle leaves, offer this delicious bhog to Shri Krishna and then serve as a Prasad to everyone.
