Ingredients

4-6 servings
  1. 1 bagor 2 cups of dried crunchy chow mein noodles
  2. 2 cancream of chicken
  3. 1 canwater (use the empty soup can)
  4. 1/4 tsppepper
  5. 1 canchicken
  6. 2 cupchopped cashews
  7. 1large or 2 small cans of mandarin oranges drained
  8. 2 cupchopped celery (can substitute for carrots or other veggies)

    Preheat oven to 350° F

  2. 2

    Mix chicken, cream of chicken, water, and ground pepper in a large bowl

  3. 3

    Add the celery and cashews, mix

  4. 4

    Add 1 cup of the chow mein, set the rest aside, mix

  5. 5

    Fold in the mandarin oranges, so as to not break them

  6. 6

    Pour mixture into a casserole dish, and cover with remaining chow mein noodles

  7. 7

    Bake at 350° f for 30-35 min, or until the top is lightly browned and the sides are bubbling

  8. 8

    Let cool for 5-10 min to thicken before serving
