This cross between a sugar cookie and a brownie is the perfect treat to have with your morning coffee or a nice dessert for after dinner with a glass of milk. Also, remember to cooksnap! 📷

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and 2/3 cup of sugar together using a handheld or stand mixer.

Mix in flour and cocoa powder until combined. Then add vanilla, almond extract, and milk. (Dough should be smooth and buttery. NOT crumbly at all. If it is crumbly, keep mixing.)

In a small separate bowl, combine and mix 3 tbsp. of sugar and the cinnamon. This will be the coating

Using your hands or a cookie scoop, create 1-inch balls of dough and gently roll them in the cinnamon sugar until they are evenly coated. Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Lightly press down on each ball of dough using the bottom of a measuring cup or glass until about half an inch thick (They will look small, but will expand while baking.)

Bake cookies in oven for 14-16 min., or until a little puffy on top.

Remove from oven, and immediately flatten to the original thickness. Let rest for 10- 15 min. Then, eat, or move to a cooling rack to cool completely.
