Ingredients

Serves 8 servings
  1. 1round sheet of pie crust (pasta brisée)
  2. 4Golden Delicious apples
  3. 3 tablespoonsbrown sugar (about 38 grams)
  4. 2 tablespoonsbrandy (about 30 ml)
  5. 3 teaspoonsground cinnamon (about 8 grams)

  1. 1

    Cut two apples into cubes and place them in a skillet. Add the brandy and two tablespoons of brown sugar, then cook for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Blend the mixture well with an immersion blender. Add the cinnamon, mix well, and let it cool.

  3. 3

    Slice the remaining apples thinly and preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C). Place the pie crust in a tart pan, prick the bottom with a fork, and pour in the blended apple mixture.

  4. 4

    Spread the mixture evenly and decorate with the apple slices. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar over the top and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

  5. 5

    When the tart is golden and cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
