🌶️🦐 Chilli Garlic Prawns
Method
1. Marinate the prawns: Mix prawns with a little salt, pepper, and ½ tsp soy sauce. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Stir-fry prawns: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, sauté prawns for 2–3 minutes until they turn pink. Remove and keep aside.
3. Prepare sauce: In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp oil. Fry garlic until fragrant, then add chillies.
4. Add veggies (optional): Toss onion and capsicum for a quick stir-fry.
5. Combine sauces: Add soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar/lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
6. Add prawns back: Mix prawns into the sauce. If you like it slightly thick, add cornflour slurry and stir for 1–2 minutes.
7. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
