Parippu Curry Without Coconut
Parippu Curry is basically Moong Lentil curry. It has a good dose of coconut, just like other dish in this part of our country, and spices. Steps

Wash the moong dal and keep it drying to half hour. Then, dry roat the moong dal for five minutes on low heat.

Then heat the pressure cooker, add 2 to 2 1/2 cup of water, roasted moong dal, chopped onion, chopped tomato, haldi, chilli powder, garam masala powder, one split green chilli, salt and give it boil and good stir, close the lid and pressure cook on low heat for 3 whistle.
Tips
Let the pressure reduce naturally before no opening the cooker. Now heat a another small pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, rai, chopped garlic, one green chilli, one red chilli, cook until when the seeds crackle and golden brown, remove from heat. Now,add tempering in cooked moong dal and cook for another 1 to 2 min on low heat and remove from heat. Serve hot 😊 Your simple and easy "Parippu Curry" is ready to eat with boiled Rice 🍚...
