Sukhi Urad Dal
Typical Punjabi style sukhi urad dal👍😋😋
Steps

Take a pressure cooker and add the soaked and drained dal in it. Put in the cut tomatoes it. Add the water along with all the dry masalas and heeng.

Give it only 2 whistles and off the gas. Open the lid and in case there is any water dry it...keeping in mind not to mash the dal.

Now make the tadka-- In a pan heat the ghee and when hot add 1/2 tsp Jeera and the onions. Add the chopped ginger and chillies too. Saute till golden. Add some chilli powder and pour into the dal. Mix gently and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves or mint leaves with hot phulkas.
