Ingredients

  1. 2 lbsground pork
  2. 3 tbspcanola oil
  3. 2 tbspoyster sauce
  4. 1 tbspfish sauce
  5. 1 tbspGolden Mountain sauce
  6. 1 tspdark soy sauce
  7. 1 tbsplight brown sugar
  8. 1minced shallot
  9. 6minced garlic cloves
  10. 1red bell pepper
  11. 1yellow bell pepper
  12. 2-3sliced Thai red chiles
  13. 2sliced green onions
  14. 2 cupsThai basil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil over medium-high heat and cook garlic and shallot until browned (~30 secs)

  2. 2

    Add ground pork and brown, stirring continuously. Drain once fully browned.

  3. 3

    Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, Golden Mountain sauce, brown sugar, and peppers. Stir until all ingredients are integrated.

  4. 4

    Continue cooking until pork is slightly charred.

  5. 5

    Add Thai basil leaves and quickly toss until leaves are wilted.

  6. 6

    Serve over bed of jasmine rice, top with green onions, and enjoy!
