To prepare the batter, mix the moong dal atta with about a cup of water until smooth and thick. Add water in batches to ensure the batter is not runny.

Add in the onions, green chillies, and ginger.

Next, add salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, amchoor powder, and hing. Mix and beat it well.

Add the chopped methi leaves with the baking powder and mix. In the meantime, heat oil in a pan for deep frying.

Deep fry the pakoras in batches on medium heat until golden and crisp.

The Methi Moong Dal Winter Pakoras are ready to enjoy. Serve them with your favourite sauce or chutney.
