Steps

Wash dal and cook till soft with tomato, turmeric powder and oil.

Prepare tadaka, heat ghee add jeera, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala and little water and cook for a while then add amchoor powder and kasuri methi.

Add the tadka to cooked dal adjust salt, and add coriander leaves mix everything well,dal is ready.

For bati, add flour to a bowl add, ajwain, kasuri methi, baking soda,coriander powder,jeera powder,corn paste,ghee and curd mix everything well prepare dough.

Make equal portion balls and cook it in boiling water for few minutes.

Now grease appe pan add the batis and cook till nice golden colour, dip prepared bati in ghee before serving.

For churma, prepare dough and form bati,cook in appe pan till nice golden colour,take out break in pieces and grind coarsely with jagarry, add ghee and cardmum powder to it mix it well.

Churma is ready.

Place dal,bati and churma in thali and serve/ enjoye.
Tips
For more flavour bati can be deep fried.
