In the 70s, these cookies went by the name Peanut Butter Temptations, a recipe discovered in a church cookbook. If you love Reese’s cups, these are right up your alley—super quick to whip up and gone in no time!

Cream the peanut butter, butter, and both sugars together. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

Sift together the salt, flour, and baking soda, then blend into the creamed mixture to make the dough.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Shape dough into 1" balls and place in ungreased 1 1/2 inch muffin tins.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. While they bake unwrap the peanut butter cups.

Immediately after removing from oven, press a peanut butter cup in until only the top shows.

Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from tins.
