This zesty lemon chicken is a great option if you're searching for a straightforward chicken dish that's full of vibrant, strong flavors. This dish turns commonplace goods into a filling and cozy supper with a harmony of tart lemon, fragrant spices, and creamy yogurt.
The chicken is first scored and marinated in a solution of fresh lemon juice, yogurt, cilantro, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and pepper.
Then, to create a rich basis for the meal, whole spices like peppercorns and cloves are sautéed in oil until fragrant. After that, the marinated chicken is added and cooked slowly until it is soft. The marinade and spices combine to create a flavorful sauce as the chicken simmers.
The meal is completed by stirring in a little slurry of cornstarch, lemon juice, and pepper to give the chicken a gorgeous, silky coating. The finishing touch is cilantro and fresh green chile, which add some heat and brightness.
This zesty lemon pepper chicken is flavorful, light, and simple to make, making it a perfect addition to an iftar buffet. The main course can then be the lemon-pepper chicken. Its mild spice and tart citrus flavor make it delicious and refreshing without being overly heavy after fasting.
Serve thischicken with your preferred side dish, such as flatbread or rice. Simple, comforting, and full of flavor, this lemon pepper chicken makes a wonderful addition to any iftar table and is perfect for sharing with loved ones.
