Thinly slice and chop the onions, then add them to a tagine or large skillet over medium heat with olive oil.

Roughly chop the tomatoes and add them to the pan with the spices and a splash of water.

Prepare the meat: add the spices to the ground meat and mix well. Shape into small meatballs and add them to the pan.

Once the meat is cooked, add the eggs on top.
