Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 1 1/3 lbsground beef or lamb (about 600 grams)
  • 4eggs
  • 2red onions
  • 4tomatoes
  • 3 teaspoonscumin
  • 3 teaspoonspaprika
  • 2 teaspoonsground ginger
  • 1garlic clove
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1small can crushed tomatoes
  • Water
  • Olive oil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Thinly slice and chop the onions, then add them to a tagine or large skillet over medium heat with olive oil.

    Roughly chop the tomatoes and add them to the pan with the spices and a splash of water.

    Prepare the meat: add the spices to the ground meat and mix well. Shape into small meatballs and add them to the pan.

    Once the meat is cooked, add the eggs on top.
