  1. 500 glauki
  2. 1 tspoil
  3. 1 tspjeera(cumin seeds)
  4. 1 tspasafoetida
  5. 1gren chilli chopped
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. Tspcoriander powder
  9. 1 pinchsugar (optional)
  10. Salt to taste

    Wash, peel bottlegourd and then chop in equal size.

    Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chilies, let the cumin sizzle. Add bottlegourd.

    Add all dry spices. Mix well. Add 1 tbsp of water. Cover and cook until lauki becomes tender and semi dry.

    Serve hot with roti, paratha or rice.
