Carrot and Oat Flat Bread
Flat breads are a nice go to for a snack or part of a meal. This is a fresh and clean and gluten free flat bread with only 2 ingredients and a few seasonings….

Peel carrots and cut into pieces to blend. Peel ginger. Into a blender add carrots,garlic,salt,cumin and just enough water to blend everything very well. Try to blend with 1/2c water and if more water is needed add a little bit and blend until smooth.

Start to add the oat flour a little bit at a time and mix until just a little sticky. Add the oil and start to knead the dough 5-6 mins.

Ready to roll it out 😃 Let’s go … prepare a place to roll by adding oat flour to the rolling space and roll the dough into a long tube. Cut into 6 pieces and roll into balls.

Take a ball and dip into the oat flour and roll into a flat circle. Not too thin or thick. Best thing to do is to roll out one and fry in a pan as a test.

Add 1tbsp oil to a pan and cook on a medium heat. When it bubbles then you can turn it over and brown the other side.

Finish the rest of the dough balls and enjoy your freshly made gluten free flat bread with your favorite meal or as a mid day snack. Make this a great day !! 💜
Tips
It’s very important to grind up the carrots so there’s no lumps. Unfortunately my blender has not perfected my need. So I just made do with it how it was. The flavor is still amazing.
