Rice Noodle Stir Fry

Rice noodles are one of a definite favorite of mine. Going to the strip district in Pittsburgh Pa, where I grew up, especially the Asian stores was my absolute favorite shopping time. 2 must haves from there was rice noodles and fish sauce ( among many other delicious things 🤭) this stir fry is just so very flavorful and satisfying so give this a try and you will see how delicious to you as well….

Rice noodles are one of a definite favorite of mine. Prepare onion, habanero, water leaf and cabbage…

In a frying pan on medium heat add the sesame oil and the fenugreek, sesame seeds,habanero and garlic. Fry until fragrant.

Add the onions, cabbage and water leaf with 1/2c water and fry these until the water has evaporated then add chopped tomato. Add the already cooked rice noodles. Mine were frozen, when I boil the whole package I freeze half for another time. This is the other time 🤭

Add the soy and oyster sauces and malt vinegar stir around. Taste to see how things are coming along. Now add the fish sauce 2 tbsp then taste and if good there your done if not add the rest and taste. Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley. Make this day a day to remember🥂
Tips
Freezing rice noodles is a great idea when the need for a quick fix is on the mind. They freeze very well and when recooked are exactly the same as cooking the first time. They’re not mushy but perfect 👌
