Steps

45 mins
  1. 1

Boil potato and keep it aside to cool.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a frying pan and add finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilly, curry leaves along with minced fish.

  3. 3

Keep frying until it becomes golden brown.

  4. 4

Add gram masala and pepper powder and turn off the stove.

  5. 5

Mash the potato and add the fried ingredients to this and combine.

  6. 6

Make small balls out of the mixture and give it a shape, I usually give oval shape.

  7. 7

In a bowl beat egg white and dip each cutlet in egg white and then in breadcrumbs.

  8. 8

Arrange the prepared cutlets in a baking tray and drizzle few drops of oil on top of each cutlet, just to keep it soft and moist while baking.

  9. 9

Pre heat oven 350 F and bake the cutlets after 10 - 15 mins or until the cutlets become slightly brown, take the tray out of oven and turn the cutlets, so that both the sides become crispy and brown.

  10. 10

If you are not so health conscious you can also deep fry the cutlets in oil, which is more tasty ;)

Cooking!!!!! It has always been a passion in my life.....Started cooking when I was in 2nd grade, I still remember that day....my first experiment was UllivadaI am a food lover at heart, so is my husband. We love to explore new cuisines, and those dishes that leave an imprint in my mind, I try to recreate them in my kitchen, following my taste buds. Never had a habit of writing down my recipes, however, being a member of cucumbertown has changed that. I would like to thank Nirmala Prem for inviting me to cucumbertown.Enjoy these recipes and remember..... cook from your heart :)
