This is a pastry that my Mom used to make when I was a kid. It was also a favorite at each road trip that we used to go on. These can be purchased from each pastry shop in Sri Lanka.

This is a pastry that my Mom used to make when I was a kid. It was also a favorite at each road trip that we used to go on. These can be purchased from each pastry shop in Sri Lanka.
Steps

Shred the boiled egg into small pieces, add salt and pepper and mix.

Chop the bacon strips into small pieces and add to the egg mixture. This will be the filling for the pastry.

Cut the sheets of pastry into 8cm by 4cm and fill with the filling and close it.

Beat an egg and brush the pastries with the egg wash.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 mins.

Done!
