Fried Maggi
Take maggi to a while new level! A eatery in my college campus was famous for making this dish. My friend Geetika showed me how to recreate it in my own kitchen.
Steps
- 1
Chop the paneer into 1 cm cubes. Coat with a pinch of salt.
- 2
Heat oil in a wok. Add in the paneer cubes, and saute till slightly brown in colour. Remove and keep aside.
- 3
To the oil add the onion. Saute for 1 minute.
- 4
Next add the tomato and green chili. Saute till oil starts to ooze out on the sides.
- 5
On low heat, add in the maggi masala. Mix. Immediately add the maggi noodles.
- 6
Toss everything around for a few seconds
- 7
Pour in the water, and follow the cooking instructions on the packet.
- 8
Once the maggi is cooked, add the paneer. Mix everything together.
- 9
The fried maggi is ready when it starts to stick to the bottom of the wok.
- 10
The maggi should NOT be watery. It should be a little bit oily (like fried things should be!)
- 11
Serve immediately!
