Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 200 gramspasta (about half a package)
  2. 8baby carrots, peeled and halved lenghtwise
  3. 2garlic cloves, grated
  4. 300 gramspeas
  5. 400 gramsmushrooms
  6. 1 cmpeeled and grated ginger root
  7. 1squeeze tomato paste (about 1 tablespoon)
  8. seasoning
  9. 1soy sauce
  10. 1sesame oil
  11. 1sambal oelek (spicy chili sauce)
  12. 1 tspchinese five spice
  13. 1black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside

  2. 2

    Heat some vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add carrots and fry for a minute

  3. 3

    Then add garlic, ginger and mushrooms until golden brown. Finally, add the peas

  4. 4

    When nicely browned, turn off heat, add pasta, sesame oil, soy sauce, sambal oelek, black pepper, chinese five spice and tomato paste

  5. 5

    Stir well to combine and enjoy!
