Spicy Salmon with Avocado Salsa

I love buying buying Salmon atleast once a month for Saturday lunch and I always try to make it yummy as possible as K is necessarily not very enthuiastic when Salmon is on the menu! He enjoys spicy food, so this recipe is an outcome of that. If you aren't into spicy food, this is not a screaming hot recipe - you will still live after eating this! LOL
I came across an Avocado Salsa recipe on a magazine and I don't remember from where as I type this!!!! We have been getting some amazingly beautiful avocados from the farmers market so I decided to make some avocado salsa to go with this salmon
This dish passed with flying colours ... It looked beautiful and it tasted great and if you read through below, you will also note how EASY this dish is

Steps
- 1
Mix the marinade for the salmon together - Chilli powder, paprika, cumin powder, olive oil along with some salt and pepper and rub it on the salmon fillets and let it marinate in the fridge for 30mins
- 2
Making the avocado salsa is pretty easy! In a bowl add the diced avocados, onion, cilantro, juice of the lemon and season with salt
- 3
Mix well to combine and put it in the fridge until it is ready to serve
- 4
You can cook the Salmon in a 200C oven for about 15mins or just stick it on the grill
- 5
It's upto you :)
- 6
Once the salmon is cooked, transfer to a serving plate, put a generous amount of the salsa on the salmon and serve!
