Ingredients

2-serving
  1. 2 cupsUrad dal
  2. 2Green chillies
  3. 1Ginger
  4. to tastechutney Imli
  5. to tasteGreen chilli coriander chutney and
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. to tasteRed chilli powder
  8. to tasteJeera powder
  9. 1 tinDahi (curd)
  10. to tasteBlack pepper powder

Steps

20 mins
  1. 1

    Soak urad dal in water for 12 hours.

  2. 2

    Grind urad dal, ginger and green chillies to make a thick mixture. Add salt to taste.

  3. 3

    Make small balls of this mixture and fry.

  4. 4

    Soak them in water for say 15-20 mins.

  5. 5

    In the meanwhile, mix salt, jeera and black pepper powder with dahi.

  6. 6

    Set the vadas on a plate and pour the above prepared dahi mixture over it.

  7. 7

    Add imli chutney, green chutney and chilli powder while serving. (Add salt if required)
