Ingredients

  • 1 cupmoong dal whole green
  • 1/4 cupmoong dal yellow split (pasi paruppu)
  • 1/4 cupchana dal
  • 3 tsptuvar dal
  • 2 tspurad dal
  • 2 tspbrown rice
  • to tasteGreen chillies chillies and red
  • 1Ginger slice
  • onions Small finely chopped
  • 1/4 tspAsafoetida
  • coriander leaves Curry and chopped finely
  • Tip:
  • can a dropof For making this more healthy,you add castor oil to the grinded mixture which relieves the gas formed in dhals.

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the dal and rice together for minimun 6 hrs or preferably overnight,

  2. 2

    Cleanse the dal and drain the water.

  3. 3

    Add all the ingredients except onions and grind it.

  4. 4

    Now grind it dosa or adai consistency.

  5. 5

    Check salt and add small onions,asafoetida and remaning curry and corainder leaves.
