I actually used leftover steamed tunafish in this recipe. The original recipe mostly use choped chicken with grated carrot and vegetables. Kroket is one of popular dish in Indonesia with dutch influence. Very easy, crunchy n good for your afternoon teatime or coffee time :) come try it

Ingredients

  1. 1steamed tuna fish
  2. 1chili pepper/black pepper (optional)
  3. 1 cupflour
  4. 3potatoes
  5. Warm water
  6. 1egg
  7. 1 tbspsalt
  8. 1 glassbread crumbs/scratch
  9. Vegetable oil/olive oil
  10. Mayonnaise (optional)
  11. Tomato sauce (optional)

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Chop-chop tuna fish into small. Then mix it with chili powder.

  2. 2

    Steamed/boil potatoes for about 10 minutes then mashed it all

  3. 3

    Mix flour, mashed potatoes, salt, and warm water. Knead it n make a dough.

  4. 4

    Make small ball.

  5. 5

    Then fill it in with chopped tuna fish. Then make small ball again.

  6. 6

    Pour dough with scratch/bread crumbs then put it inside egg, then pour it with scratch/bread crumbs again.

  7. 7

    Fry it in deep fry until golden brown (for about 4 minutes)

    Serve it with tomato sauce and mayonnaise :))
