Cooking Instructions
- 1
This is a really easy recipe. You will need to fry these in a pan with your frying pan filled about half way with the cooking grease of your choice (Canola oil works well). Get your grease ready, nice and hot.
- 2
Mix all the ingredients together well, except the cooking grease.
- 3
I just use a Tablespoon and put the mixture in the hot oil I can usually fit about 4 in one pan then I press them down with a flat spatula once they are in the pan. Be careful as you put them in the pan because sometimes the grease will pop on you.
- 4
Fry the croquettes on each side until they are golden brown, which usually takes about 3-5 minutes depending on the temperature of the grease.
- 5
Once they are done take them out and place them on or in something where the grease can be soaked up.

Creamy and Soft Tuna and Tofu Croquettes Creamy and Soft Tuna and Tofu Croquettes
I wanted to make tasty croquettes without using meat or dairy products. The filling is really creamy, just like bechamel sauce. In Step 3, stir constantly over low heat to cook the cake flour through, taking care not to let it burn.Since the tuna and soup stock flavor the filling well, it's best not to add salt. The croquettes are easier to form if you chill the filling well. The croquettes are very tender, so form them into small patties so that they won't fall apart when you hold them with chopsticks.
