A Turkey Sausage Conglomerate
Steps
- 1
Chop up onion and garlic, set aside forever. Jk, we'll come back to this!
- 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine turkey sausage, shredded cheese and garlic + onion mixture (see, I told you...)
- 3
Optional: combine breadcrumbs if you're using them. Don't have to, just makes things a LITTLE bit more stable when we start cooking...
- 4
Pour A1 over sausage mixture and work through. Same with the olive oil next!
- 5
Preheat oven to 350 degrees right meow.
- 6
Make patties out of the sausage mixture like you would if you were making a burger.
- 7
Coat either a grill or a large pan (recommended, these jokers like to fall apart) with olive oil and lay the patties on, cook for ~4 minutes each side.
- 8
Chef (or lack thereof) Tip: It's mighty bold to put some A1 on the patties while they are grilling...
- 9
Once all patties have finished grilling, I like to bake them for 5 extra minutes. Gets the outside a little more crispy. Not necessary, but may want to grill a little longer on each side of you skip this step.
- 10
Chef (or lack thereof) Tip: don't forget to turn off the oven. Not that that's ever happened to me...
- 11
Serve as either a burger or by themselves as a pseudo-meatloaf. A little of that leftover shredded mozzarella on top of the patties never hurt anyone either...
